Dense linocut print with peonies, dahlias, and mixed botanicals — a richly detailed white-on-black floral pattern.

Garden. Large scale linocuts.

The series Garden was created during winter, shaped by a longing for summer and the quiet anticipation of nature’s return. Rather than depicting a specific place, these works form an imagined landscape – dense, immersive, and rich with botanical detail.

Floral elements expand across the surface in layered compositions, balancing ornamental rhythm with organic growth. Within this environment, human figures appear in calm, introspective moments, suggesting a close and intuitive relationship with the natural world.

The strong contrasts of linocut – light emerging from deep black – reinforce the emotional tension between dormancy and bloom. Each print becomes a space where seasons overlap: where winter holds the memory and promise of summer.

Garden reflects on waiting, growth, and the quiet persistence of nature, translated through the tactile and deliberate process of carving.
